What video formats can I upload?

MP4 is the primary supported format. Larger files are compressed automatically for smooth streaming.

Can I restrict videos to a specific batch?

Yes. Assign each video to one or more specific batches when uploading. Only enrolled students in those batches can view it.

Can students download the recording?

No. Students cannot download the recording. It is streaming-only.

Can I set an expiry date on a video?

Yes. Set an expiry date on any recording so it becomes unavailable to students after that date automatically.

Can I see who has watched a recording?

Yes. The video analytics report shows which students have viewed each recording and when.

Can I record classroom lectures?

Yes. We have a dedicated recorder app which can record the video and automatically upload it to Class Matrix and make it available to the appropriate batch.
